 cartridge arrived in speedy fashion, but NOT as advertised September 10, 2010

The HP black ink cartridge I ordered from GoFastParts through Amazon was supposed to be "Original HP 56 Black Ink Cartridge In Retail Packaging," and was displayed showing HP's current packaging.
The package I received was certainly not in HP"s cardboard packaging, but in a simple plastic wrapper with the notation

It had nothing printed on it of HP's usual information on how to install, to reorder, etc. In other words, this is NOT in HP's Retail Packaging. It is in the same kind of packaging as that for a remanufactured cartridge I purchased recently from another outfit.
I have not been too happy with remanufactured ink cartridges and thought I was making sure to get this HP 56 cartridge in HP's original packaging. Even if the cartridge I received is not remanufactured but simply repackaged (refurbished?), it is not the retail packaging both promised and pictured.
I have not used this cartridge yet, hoping I may return it for a cartridge that I know will be genuine a HP OEM cartridge.
But if I have to pay return postage or the like, will probably accept this falsely-advertised (although possibly adequately functional) product. Meanwhile, I will be wondering if I will get the same or a lower number of pages out of it, etc.

I got these in the mail. They are not in the original package as the ad claims. In fact, it's three used up cartridges in a plain cardboard box. To add insult, none of them work. One prints so lightly you'd need a decoder ring to read the text. The other two fail to align when placed in the machine.
If you order this product, I recommend that you remove it from your mail box and place it directly in the trash. At least you won't be out the time and frustration of dealing with it.

The printer design allows accumulation of crud so when you install this keep your fingers away from the cradle it rides in, otherwise it's OK.

Product itself in good condition. Padded envelope it shipped in was stapled instead of glued and arrived partially open, retail packaging of product was damaged but cartridge itself was not affected.
